The Jackson County EMS Training Department believes that it takes a combination of three things to form a superb EMS service, good people, good policy, and good training. With that being said, the JCEMS Training Department is composed of a core group of instructors in the county who are assisted by several specialty instructors throughout the county that are certified by various agencies. The Jackson County EMS Training Center holds multiple accreditations for an assortment of programs ranging from all levels of emergency medical technician training to a variety of professional continuing education programs for healthcare providers. In addition, the Training Center provides many public education programs to communities, business, and industry throughout Jackson County Ohio. The Training Department also maintains continuing education files on all JCEMS employees in an effort to assist them with state and national recertification.
